Assessing readiness is a subjective and objective process. It requires a careful review of three dimensions of your organization to understand whether it’s ready for change and how successful that change will be.
- Resources. Do we have the financial resources to address the change? Do we have the physical infrastructure in place to manage change?
- Change Conditions. Who will lead the change? How long should we expect the change management process to take? What are the time expectations/requirements of leaders throughout the process?
- Attitude. Is leadership aligned and committed to leading the organization through change? What’s ultimately driving the change? How do we perceive our organization’s culture will accept this change?
